YOU WILL NOT FIND MY PEACE by engaging in excessive planning: attempting to control what will happen to you in the future. That is a commonly practiced form of unbelief. When your mind spins with multiple plans, Peace may sometimes seem to be within your grasp; yet it always eludes you. Just when you think you have prepared for all possibilities, something unexpected pops up and throws things into confusion. I did not design the human mind to figure out the future. That is beyond your capability. I crafted your mind for continual communication with Me. Bring Me all your needs, your hopes and fears. Commit everything into my care. Turn from the path of planning to the path of Peace. Bible text: 1 Peter 5:6-7; Proverbs 16:9; Psalm 37:5 (NKJV). Devotional by Sarah Young.

You Are Blessed!
The word "blessed" is a Greek word which means "fortunate" or "happy". The Old Testament describes the kind of happiness that comes from receiving divine favor. God is the One who is blessing or favoring the person.
Deuteronomy 28: 1-9 (KJV) reads:
1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7. The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8. The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto: and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
9. The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in this ways.
Give praise to God this day for you are blessed everyday all day!

Testimony Time - Hallelujah!
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me," says the Lord. - NKJV
After working at a job for 19 years and finally being promoted to management I had never experienced so much meanness from other fellow managers (colleagues). Well, after a year of being treated badly not from all of the managers but from about 5 out of 100 which isn't bad but there was that one who was truly a thorn in my side.
This particular manager was suppose to train me but every time it was time to train me she was either to busy, out of office on vacation or something. I spoke to our manager and she said to sit down with her and talk to her by letting her know the importance of training me so that I can be brought up to speed.
This meeting never took place because once again she was always busy even though I tried to schedule some time on our Outlook Calendar to meet. During the time all of these meetings were trying to take place I got really frustrated and started to pray to God asking him what can I do because this person is determined not to see me succeed.
Since I had been at this place for 19 years a lot of friendships and work relationships had been established between me and many other great people at the company. The Lord directed me to different people within all the departments that I built a work relationship with over time of working at the company.
I started to go to all of these people to get the answers that I needed for different projects that my manager had given me to do and before you knew it I was at my year and it was time to get a self evaluation of my work over the course of the past year and I was very nervous about it.
Praying to God in regards to not knowing what will happen because I did not properly get trained because of jealousy and who knows what else was going in this person's mind and God was telling me not to worry but I was still a little nervous but happens next kicked up my trust and faith in God even the more.
That afternoon I went in to see my manager and she started to tell me how I had done such an amazing job over the course of the year and that everybody has spoken well about my attitude and work ethics and when my manager got to the page of the raise it was an 8% raise which was higher than I have ever received after working at a company for that long. Hallelujah!
My eyes got big but I didn't let my manager see and the only words that came to my mind were from the Lord which said that "no weapon formed against me shall prosper." I wanted to cry along with jumping up and praising the Lord at the same time but I left my manager's office grateful and humble.
Saints of the most high, God can deal with whatever situation we face in our life and believe these words that whatever you are faced against in this world "no weapon formed against you will prosper"!
Blessings to you on this day which the Lord has made. Give Him some praise!
